Power Rankings 3

LeBron and the Cavs moved into the top 5 in my weekly power rankings, mostly because of their impressive active 7-game winning streak.

Here's the Power Rankings for Week 3.
1 Los Angeles Lakers
Yeah, they lost to Detroit, but they still are the best team in the league. Their win percentage is .875, still the best team in the league.

2 Boston Celtics
Last week they fell a little bit, but now they're back up at 2. They keep destroying teams. Last night, they defeated Milwauke! e 102-97. Maybe that's only 5, but they still won.

3 Detroit Pistons
They beat the Lakers, and now they are looking to go 4-0 on their road trip when they play Phoenix tonight. Iverson actually turned out to be a good fit for them.

4 Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavs are on an impressive 7-game winning streak, the longest one right now in the league. They are looking to extend that winning streak when they play the Nets on Tuesday.

5 Phoenix Suns
Amare Stoudemire is playing very well so far this season. 23.1 PPG and 8.4 rebounds. That's good. Good enough to make the Suns have the 2nd best record in the West. But they need a better effort from the other players. Steve Nash is averaging only 13 points and 7 assists. Barbosa? Only 10.9. That's not the high scoring Suns that we know. We need to see a better effort out of these guys.
